The Environmental Club is an organization whose main goal is promoting the 'go green' initiative on our College. The club educates the students on environmental issues and supports green causes.It help trainees acquire skills needed to identify, investigate, and experience the resolution of environmental issues and problems.

Present were, Principal, Registrar, Dean, Trainers and Trainees. Studies have indicated that Trainers and Trainees in many parts of the world are addressing outcomes relevant to environmental education and that trainees in many colleges are involved in local environmental conservation

Consequently, emerging economies are giving priority to R & D activities and incentives for the dissemination and adoption of green technologies.

In view of the above, the 3rd KATTI National TVET Exhibition and Robotic Contest offers a platform for all TVET Institutions to showcase various initiatives in Science, Technology and Innovation with intent to augment Kenya’s drive to sustainable development.

The 11th KATTI National TVET fair and exhibition will include all the Kenya Association of Technical Training Institutions (KATTI) member institutions as participants and will be held at two levels; the regional level and the national level. The regional level will comprise the five KATTI regions of Coast, Nairobi, Mt. Kenya, Rift Valley and Western. Both levels will comprise of three main activities, Exhibition of Innovations, Robotic Contest and Research Paper Presentations.

Staff and trainees of participating institutions will develop innovations based on the TVET fair theme to present at the respective regional fair Innovations will be presented in twelve categories of; Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Information Communication Technology (ICT), Business, Applied Sciences, Agricultural Science, Food and Beverage and Clothing and Textile Technology

Modern yogurt production in the College

Modern yogurt production involves culturing milk with live bacteria. The bacteria produce lactic acid which coagulates the milk proteins, making yogurt thick and slightly sour in flavor. The bacterial cultures required for producing yogurt are Streptococcus thermophilus and Lactobacillus bulgaricus. About 80% of all yogurt manufactured contains an additional culture called Lactobacillus acidophilus, and many commercial yogurt products also contain Bifidobacterium bifidum or Lactobacillus casei because of their potential health benefits

To provide fundamental knowledge of site practices on reinforced concrete, use of different types of formwork, falsework and scaffolding in concrete building construction.

Computer Lab

This is one of our computer lab and it is a space which provides computer services to our students. Computers in computer labs are typically equipped with internet access, so as to allow students access the internet resources.
It serves as the center for teaching computer classes. Classroom teachers also use the lab with their classes for research, or for creating technology-based projects.

Conservation is the practice of us humans saving the environment from the loss of species, and the destruction of the ecosystem, primarily due to pollution and human activities, for present and future use.Our environment comprises all living and non-living components and their interactions within a natural habitat. It has become one of the core issues that need to be addressed to battle climate change and global warming

Agriculture Value Addition Lab

Adding value is the process of changing or transforming a product from its original state to a more valuable state.
For long, local farmers have been comfortable with the way they have been handling agricultural produce. Most foods have been eaten fresh and any leftovers immediately thrown away and there hasn’t been any urgency before to consume food in an efficient manner.

NGAO team, with the area chiefs & Assistant Chiefs of Kuresoi South Sub County, launched the “Operation Twende TVET” campaign to help more than 2500 Class 8 and Form four leavers to go to TVET College - Kiptaragon TVC which is one of the TVET college in the region
